ABS Banking is a 30-member group, mostly made up of customer security agreement groups. Our team is responsible for the initiation, execution and closing of transactions. We communicate with advisors, external auditors and rating agencies when we conduct transactions. We work with the ABS Syndicate Desk and Mortgage Sales Team to market the securities to investors.

- The ABS Analytics team (part of ABS Banking) supports our launch and execution through:
- Using BAML's internal structurers, model new/proposed transactions and plan existing transactions and make recommendations to streamline the transaction. Use Intex DealMaker to create a template to share with investors to help them make investment decisions.
- Provide detailed comparative analysis of recommendations for inclusion in client presentations.
- The structure, interest rate and price of the securities for our issuing clients.
- Familiarize yourself with the assumptions of modeling in the delivery of documents and contact the accountants.
- Interact with our issuer and investor clients to clarify model assumptions and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in computer science, mathematics, engineering or computational finance
- 3 years experience in financial services or related field preferred (previous ABS modeling experience required)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft VBA, Access
- Previous financial modeling experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills
