You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, TS&D, RandD, Technology Centers and Manufacturing to effectively implement new technologies, products or applications to meet the technology needs of the company and our customers. This can include desktop builds, pilot tests, and testing at customer locations.

Duties include:
- Understands scope and limitations of test methods and prepares internal test methods, prepares overall test protocol to meet project objectives.
- Convince others about different technical solutions. Articulate synergies between technologies to effectively maximize value and understand how business value is created for Dow and the customer. Constantly apply the scientific method to solving technical problems. Understands the relationship of the scientific method to Six Sigma, ICO, DFSS, NPI and other methodologies.
- Develops new approaches and solutions to problems by thinking about things from different perspectives.
- Administer non-disclosure agreements and joint development agreements to protect Dow technology for specific projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to project participants. Mentor younger scientists and technicians.
- Deliver presentations or reports that break down complex ideas into clear findings and proposals; communicates appropriately to influence internal and external audiences.
- Communicate and document work appropriately in the form of internal reports/ROCs/presentations, technology manuals, knowledge management resources, external reports and patents as required.
- Served as lead author of presentations and presentations at industry conferences.
- This role supports a portion of the polyurethane business with a high level of customer service and support, which may be 20-0% travel.
Required Qualification:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering or a science-related field or military experience at the US E6 or Canadian Officer 2nd Class, Sergeant level or higher.
- At least 2 years of similar work experience
- The minimum requirement for this US position is the ability to legally work in the US. Visa sponsorship/subsidy is not available for this position, including US Permanent Resident (Green Card) processes.
