We are looking for Automotive Damage Interns in Farmington, NM / Durango, CO who are motivated and ready to take their career to the next level with GEICO. Our company's paid training will teach you the ins and outs of car damage compensation, so you can help our customers in the event of a major accident or disaster. We are looking for motivated and compassionate people. Your unique skills, along with the latest automation tools and technologies will help you:
- Inspect and determine damage to vehicles caused by all types of accidents
- Estimate car repair costs and negotiate a fair settlement
Work with other managers and supervisors in the store, rental partners and parts suppliers. As an auto wrecker, you will be constantly challenged to continue developing your skills and knowledge to better understand our company, our business and our customers. Salary:
Salary: $22.83 per hour / $46,000 per year
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid driver's license (must have a valid driver's license for at least the last 3 years) and ability to maintain valid state and federal licenses and permits.
Willingness to adapt to the original work situation - a situation that may require remote or in-house work
Powerful computer, performance and multitasking
Attention to detail and decision-making ability
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and willingness to develop these skills
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, college diploma or current pursuit preferred
