This role is within the Capital Management Group of Corporate Wealth Management Firms and Legal Entities. The group is responsible for capital planning and forecasting in a range of macroeconomic and idiosyncratic scenarios of varying severity across the capital planning continuum, from business as usual to stressed environments, including: CCAR/DFAST and Recovery and Resolution. Key business partners include: Balance Sheet Management, Corporate Planning, Global Finance, Global Liquidity Management, Corporate Stress Testing and Corporate Strategy.

The position requires a highly motivated individual who is experienced in strategic thinking and project management and has the following
key responsibilities:
- Implement strategic capital projects and initiatives to support the capital planning and decision-making process
- Perform key capital planning responsibilities such as managing and updating the capital plan and policies
- Participate in solving assessments across the capital planning continuum, including supporting weekly and quarterly capital processes
- Plan and deliver presentations to senior management and the board
- Support capital planning and stress testing process improvement and internal control initiatives
- Management and implementation of ad hoc requests/requests from management, regulators and other stakeholders
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or similar field, MBA is a plus - or similar work experience
- 10 years of work experience in the field of financial services
- High technical proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly PowerPoint (senior management presentations), Word (business writing) and Excel (metrics and data analysis)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to summarize complex business issues and present detailed analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Project management skills; can quickly create an approach to solving new problems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, hard work and utmost attention to detail
- Strong influencing, facilitation and partnership skills
- Desired skills and experience:
- Knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment and capital planning supervisory expectations
- Experience with regulatory capital, risk assessment, stress testing, etc. (FRTB, CCAR, Basel III, Basel III reforms, hereafter Basel IV) in a large globally important bank or management consulting firm
