We are looking for a team member to join our company's data management team for the role of data quality analyst. This role is based in Pittsburg, PA
In this role you will contribute in the following ways:
- Perform data quality related activities (creation of data quality rules, profiling and deployment, edit controls, problem identification, root cause analysis, value case analysis, remediation planning.
- Perform complex analysis to support business rules. Provide feedback on results to stakeholders. Perform root cause analysis, pattern analysis, and other validation to identify errors
- Identify, assess and resolve (clean up) data quality issues by creating validation rules to assess data quality against business rules and historical trends.
- Analyzing regulatory requirements to determine validity, completeness and consistency of logic and physical data management. Participate in the development and maintenance of the company's quality data management dashboards
- Examine the data line to help identify areas of data quality problems
- Coordination of activities related to data quality with the data management team/data management committee and data quality working groups)
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of company KPI and reporting
- To be successful in this role we expect the following:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline or an equivalent year of work experience
- 3 years of professional data quality work experience in the financial services industry 2 years of work experience in Data Quality Tools
- Experience with data, preferably data management or administration
- 2 years of experience in Data Quality SDLC
- Experience navigating data structures and models
- Experience working with data streams, SQL and other data modeling

- Experience in implementing a data quality working model for regulatory reporting, liquidity and compliance
