Duties and requirements of the clinic for the position:
- Provide quality clinical assessment and care, interventions and treatment based on established best practices and medical necessity guidelines
- Perform diagnostic assessments and develop measurable treatment plans that meet client needs and goals
- Complete diagnostic assessment tools that support and match the client's clinical picture
- Complete contact notes that record every customer session and interaction over a specified period of time
- Complete clinical documentation according to payer standards
- Maintain clear and up-to-date patient information and communication in a HIPAA-compliant EHR
- Answer customer questions in a reasonable amount of time
- Provide culturally sensitive client-centered care
- Collaborate with members of the Telemydt support teams
- Provide community referral sources as needed during treatment and after discharge
- Coordinate care with physician, PCP, or other provider as needed
- Maintain a confidential and professional looking virtual office space
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain good standing on all license plates
- Complete all licensing and specialty continuing education requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication skills with prescribing partners, clients and others
- Strong technology skills sufficient to work in a modern EHR, provide telehealth services, send/receive email and meet online training requirements.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
- Effective time planning, organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate diplomatically, respectfully and professionally
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality and privacy policies
- Competent, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate with senior clinical and non-clinical staff
- Demonstrated ability to implement various interventions with individuals/families in crisis
- Working information on family systems and their effects on mental health
- Working knowledge of trauma-informed treatment, attachment style, and clinical presentation across the lifespan
- Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries and behavior
- Awareness of personal strengths and limitations
