The payroll tax specialist provides excellent customer service support to internal and external clients, maintaining the accuracy of payroll tax and income tax information.

Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze and correct employee payroll tax information to ensure compliance
- As a payroll tax specialist, this position prepares and processes payroll tax transactions and maintains the accuracy of the payroll tax book for workplaces and residences.
- Customer service interaction with employees and company offices
- Researching, resolving payroll tax, payroll and W-2 issues and responding to employee and corporate office inquiries
- Support the payroll tax support service
- A payroll tax specialist analyzes and prepares W-2 corrections
- Analysis and preparation of transactions to reflect various tax special benefits
Norm
- 2 years of work experience in payroll taxation
- Knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
- Workday Payroll: A working familiarity with the Workday Payroll environment and employee tax information
- Experience in taxation of payroll funds in several countries
- Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Option to learn through self-study and distance learning
- Very important computer skills
The salary range is from the lowest to the highest salary we believe in good faith we are paying when this position is posted. We may charge more or less than this range. Employee salary is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, position, location, activity, union and business needs.
