As a Pharmacy Technician at Freedom Fertility, you will help patients get the medications they need to help them achieve their dream of starting a family. You have the authority to engage patients, insurance companies and multiple departments to process orders and ensure timely delivery of medications. This role is highly detailed and you will spend most of your day working with our computer system.

- Enter prescriptions accurately into our system, resolve claims and denials, and support patients with their medication orders.
- Use your training, problem-solving skills and the support of your team to accurately process prescriptions so they are dispensed accurately.
- Communicate directly with patients to explain benefits and offer coverage solutions.
- Answer calls from patients with questions about their prescription coverage and carry out patient-directed medication refills.
- Deal directly with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
- You will investigate issues with pharmacies and doctors and provide guidance to our patients on medication safety. Multitask without compromising on detail or customer service.
- You will be busy handling several inquiries at once and documenting information into our computer system.
What it takes to do the job:
- High school diploma or GED
- Appropriate experience or desire to learn
- Valid state pharmacy technician license/certificate/registration is required
- Current Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required
- Microsoft Office skills and data entry skills
- Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication)
- Great attention to detail, accuracy and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must live in AZ
- Experience with prescription claims and knowledge of rejection is helpful. Knowledge of the pre-authorization process
