We will work directly with the Recruiting Manager in this unique implementation role. The company offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, annual bonus and stock/RSUs. Summary: The Senior Java Developer will be involved in the development of new and existing technology products. This position helps build new cloud technology platforms that diversify our portfolio and enhance the technical platforms that drive our core business. This individual will collaborate with Software Managers, Business Analysts, other teams and team members to share and gain knowledge and experience that will improve team performance and subject matter expertise. Norm
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience
- 7-9 years of development and delivery experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks (we use React)
- 2 years of experience with AWS Cloud Environment
- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. Strong backend development experience
- Strong experience with a Spring boot
- Extensive experience with microservices
- Strong experience in developing APIs from scratch that work with any application
- Experience with Java Rest API security is a plus
- Excellent object-oriented skills and knowledge of design patterns
- Experience building and automating the deployment process
- You are familiar with test-driven development, test automation and continuous delivery
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Suitable in a *nix environment
- Exposure to JIRA or similar issue tracking software
- AWS Certified Associate or Professional preferred
- Any of the following would be ideal: ELK, Artifactory/Nexus, Git, Bash, Gradle, Bamboo/Jenkins is a plus
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Helm and Terraform is a plus
The salary range is from the lowest to the highest salary we reasonably believe in good faith we will be paying when this position is posted. We may charge more or less than this range.
