Kforce has a client in Anacortes, WA seeking a fully remote Software Engineer to translate business requirements and functional information into logical program designs and deliver code modules, stable application systems and software solutions. This involves developing, configuring or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions in various computing environments. The Senior Software Engineer facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of published applications.

Responsibilities:
- Translate complex cross-functional business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems and software solutions.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand business needs and functional specifications
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are translated into flexible, scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Evaluate project deliverables to ensure conformance to specifications and architectural standards
- Coordinates, implements and participates in Component Integration Scenarios (CIT), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify application bugs and ensure quality software deployment.
- Participates in all phases from software development to the end of the product life cycle, applying and sharing a deep understanding of complex business and industry methodologies, policies, standards and controls.
- Makes technical compromises at the application level
- Automate and simplify your team's development, testing, and operational processes
- Develops detailed architectural plans for large enterprise architecture projects and executes the plans
- Solves complex architecture/design and business problems - solutions are extensible; Works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc.
Norm
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field (or equivalent work experience in a similar field)
- 5 years experience in software or similar field
- years of experience in database technologies
- years of experience in projects related to the implementation of SDLC solutions.
- has a strong understanding of software design patterns and approaches; understands application-level software architecture
- Experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, OpenCV, Python, Pytorch, Tensorflow
The salary range is from the lowest to the highest salary we believe in good faith we will be paying when this position is posted. We may charge more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, position, location, performance, union and business needs. This area may be changed in the future.
