As Director of Strategic Planning, you will apply deep financial expertise, extensive Dow and industry knowledge, a strong understanding of Dow's capital processes and business acumen to investment analysis and planning, financial modeling, business analysis and value-based strategy development.

Duties include:
- Support the manager in the organization's strategic plan, which usually includes capital investment analysis and other research to ensure the continued successful growth of the organization.
- Collaborate with project and business management teams to prepare projects for management reviews
- Provide leadership and direction to multiple teams, typically through other personal managers, and is responsible for overall strategic planning performance and results
- Contributes to corporate efforts to train, attract and retain talent with expertise in Dow's financial analysis/capital projects methodology, portfolio analysis and value-based strategy development, as well as leading related key project/initiative analyses.
- Develop, maintain and teach Dow methodology or financial analysis, M&A analysis and value-based strategy
- Leads the resolution of highly complex financial strategic planning activities
- Designs and consults with other senior HR managers to support internal strategy or priorities
- Proactively analyze the financial implications of alternative courses of action and make recommendations that increase shareholder value
- Implement and develop operational strategy for business characterization, portfolio analysis, business analysis projects and analysis of joint ventures and mega projects
- Your knowledge, skills and abilities include:
- Excellent analytical and financial skills
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Proven project management and training skills
- Strong PowerPoint/graphics skills
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Experience in decision making and risk analysis.
Required Qualification:
- At least an MBA or Masters in finance or technology
- At least 8 years of work experience in the financial sector
- Project finance valuation/modeling experience
