Responsibilities:
- Manage the drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements with a focus on ISDA conventions, including credit support addendums and related documents on behalf of multiple Bank of America entities for investment managers and bank and corporate clients. The negotiator works closely with the sales and onboarding teams to maximize the efficiency of the customer onboarding process.
- Primarily acts as a documentation relationship manager for key clients, being the primary point of contact and coordinating the documentation process for various products. Identifying and facilitating credit, legal, tax and policy issues by coordinating communications between credit institutions, collateral management, tax, counsel (internal and external) and client representatives ("Internal Partners").
- Communicate with internal partners and traders/dealers to accurately describe the credit and business terms required for the relationship according to banking guidelines and practices.
- Update the bank's systems, including the documentation system. If necessary, they engage in special projects.
Basic skills and requirements
- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
- You can work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
- Highly motivated and ability to prioritize/drive activity.
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined parameters.
- Knowledge of hedge funds and asset manager structures.
- Legal education preferred
